Terms and Conditions

Definitions

These Terms apply to all courier, transport and logistics services supplied by L E S Transport Ltd (‘we’,’us’,’our’). ‘Customer’ means any individual or business booking our services.

Bookings

Bookings may be made by telephone, email or via our website. A contract is formed once we confirm acceptance of the booking.

Quotations

Quotes are estimates unless stated otherwise and remain valid for 7 days.

Prices and Payment

Credit account customers must pay invoices within agreed terms (normally 30 days). Non-account customers may be required to pay before collection.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate collection/delivery details, correctly package goods and declare dangerous or restricted items.

Prohibited Goods

We may refuse firearms, explosives, illegal goods, live animals, human remains and any item prohibited by law unless agreed in writing.

Collections and Deliveries

Delivery times are estimates. Reasonable waiting time is included; additional waiting may incur extra charges.

Cancellations

Cancellation charges may apply depending on when cancellation occurs and whether a vehicle has been dispatched.

Liability

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the lower of repair cost, replacement value or applicable contractual limit, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Claims

Claims for loss or damage should be reported promptly in writing with supporting evidence.

Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
